Background information

Barad-Dûr, the dark fortress of Sauron, was built in the second era of Middle-earth and was considered the largest building of its time. J.R.R. Tolkien described the huge tower as a symbol of power and terror, the black walls of which extended miles high into the sky. Our Book Nook captures the threatening atmosphere of this legendary fortress and brings a piece of Middle earth to your home.
