The sensor is located in a separate aluminium housing for further improved vibration absorption, resulting in higher sensor sensitivity. Overall the enhanced sensitivity in conjunction with increased speed result in an even higher level of stabilisation. 

In conjunction with the ultra-fast micro-processor and a special PID control algorithm the GY701 delivers an unprecedented level of performance for competition models. The electronic connection / set-up box is fitted with an OLED screen which is highly legible even in bright sunlight. 
If a rotational speed sensor is connected, the GY701 can be expanded to include the function of a speed governor, ensuring that the gyro and governor interact perfectly.
A single lead supplies all the essential information from the receiver via the S-BUS connection; even the collective pitch position can be interrogated in order to obtain optimum regulatory behaviour.
